"I just checked in last night," said, Rudy Habibe, 49, of Puerto Rico while recording the Hilton Sonoma Wine Country burning down on his smartphone.
"The police knocked on our door around 1:30 in the morning and told us we had to leave," said Beryl Hill, 82, at the charred remains of her home on Flintwood Drive in the Hidden Valley neighborhood.
"When the sun comes up tomorrow morning, I'll be back here looking for my mom's wedding rings," said Bill Cutting after looking over the remains of his mother's home on Aaron Drive in the Hidden Valley neighborhood.
